    Открытый урок английского языка с использованием ИКТ в 8 классе

    Подходы:

    1. аудиовизуальный;
    2. личностно-ориентированный.

    Оборудование урока:

    1) карта Великобритании
    2) раздаточный материал: карточки(Приложение 2);
    3) звуковые: песня “Yellow Submarine”;
    4) технические: компьютер, проектор, экран для проецирования.
    5) наглядные: презентация

    Применяемые технологии:

    • проектная деятельность;
    • здоровьесберегающая технология;
    • применение ИКТ.

     

    Ход урока:


    1.Организационный момент:

    • Приветствие учащихся Good morning, pupils!
    • Беседа с дежурным
    What date is it today? What day of the weak is it today? What season is it now? …
    So, We have spoken about today’s weather. What country do people also like to speak about the weather?
    What is the title of our topic? Let’s look at the blackboard and say what things we are going to speak about today, What is the Purpose of the lesson ?
    • the country
    • the British people
    • London

    2.Целеполагание:

    Today we continue speaking about Great Britain and British people, and first I want to ask you a question Do you know any English proverbs which are connected with our topi

    4. Activity.



    А)T: O’K! Today we shall have a chance not only to hear about the UK and London but also to see some interesting facts.

    We are going to revise some facts about the land of the UK. You are in 2 groups. Let’s begin with questions about this country. Remember the questions, choose the speaker in your group, help him. I’ll give you 2 minutes.
    Questions.
    1. What group of islands are the British Isles?
    2. What are the largest islands?
    3. How many states are there in the British Isles, what are they?
    4.What is the name for the largest island in the British Isles?
    5. How many parts is it divided into?
    6.What island is it?
    7.What is the political name of the country?
    8.What countries does it consist of?
    9. What is the UK?
    10.What is the capital of the country?
    11. What is the population?
    12.What are the main nationalities in the UK?
    13. Who are also the British?
    14. What is the native language in the United Kingdom?

    Now, Let’s describe the country: P1, P2.

    You know, English people are very talented. The famous group Beatles testifies this idea. I advise you to have a little rest and to sing a popular song «А yellow submarine ».

    В) T: It’s time to speak about English people. What grammar construction will help us? Let’s revise this piece of grammar material. What verbs do we need to make up such sentences?
    ( think, believe, know, suppose, say, consider…)
    T: Translate some sentences from English into Russian:
    The English are said to be polite.
    The Welsh are considered to be hard -working.
    The British are supposed to be reserved.
    T: The next task for you is to transform the following sentences using the construction …is said (considered, thought, believed, known, etc) to… (Раздаются карточки с предложениями).
    1.People think that the English have a good sense of humor
    (The English are thought to have a good sense of humor)

    2. People consider that the British drink a lot of tea
    (The British are considered to drink a lot of tea)

    3. People say that the Scots are a serious people
    (The Scots are said to be a serious people)

    4. People believe that the British talk about the weather all the time
    (The British are believed to talk about the weather all the time)

    5.People think that the Irish are great talkers
    (The Irish are thought to be great talkers)

    6. People believe that the Scots are careful with money
    (The Scots are believed to be careful with money)

    7. They say that the Irish have a sweet tooth
    (The Irish are said to have a sweet tooth)

    8.People say that the English like animals very much.
    (The English are said to like animals very much.)

    9.We know that English people have fireplaces in their houses.
    (English are known to have fireplaces in their houses).

    10.People consider that the Welsh people are very emotional.
    (The Welsh people are considered to be very emotional).

    11.People know that most English like to live in houses rather than in flats.
    (Most English are known to like living in houses rather than in flats).

    12.People suppose that the English like fish and chips.
    (The English are supposed to like fish and chips.)

    5. Релаксация.

    T: I see that you are tired. Will you stand up? Let’s remember our poem about London and do exercises.
    (Учащиеся и учитель вместе рассказывают стихотворение и выполняют упражнения.)
    - Up, down, up, down, (Поднимаем руки вверх и вниз)
    - Which is the way (Разводим руки в стороны)
    - To London town?
    - Where? Where? (Поворачиваемся в стороны)
    - Up in the air, (Смотрим по сторонам)
    - Close your eyes (Закрываем глаза)
    - And you are there! (Открываем глаза)
    Let’s pay our attention to the purpose of the lesson:
    to speak about
    • the country
    • the British people, and now to speak about
    • London

    6. Развитие умений аудировать.

    Teacher: Listen to the text, be ready to answer the questions: (прослушивание текста)

    2. How many parts are there in London?
    3.What are they?

    London is the capital of Great Britain. It is two thousand years old. London is situated on the river Thames. There are 17 bridges across the river. The population of London is about 9 million people.
    There are 3 parts in London: the City of London, the West End, and the East End.
    So, London is a great city.

    Teacher: Listen to the text once again, be ready to answer the questions:

    1. What is London?
    2. How many years old is it?
    3. What river is London situated on?
    4. How many bridges are there across the river?
    5.What is the population in London?
    6.How many parts are there in London?
    7.What are they?
    8. What city is London?

    Now speak about London: P1,P2

    Teacher: You know we are working at making projects. And now you have a chance to listen to one of them. Listen to the girls, please.
